Nice stuff, Mike.  I like the Grand Central piece a lot.  The individual bits are all interesting, but the sum is greater than the parts.  Makes me nostalgic for Grand Central from the other side of the planet where I am now.  You have some other interesting work on your site as well.  Thanks for sharing it.

PS:  Was the vignetting and OOF stuff all in camera, or was some of it Final Cut?  You didn't mention any of the Grand Central stuff being shot with a LensBaby.  Some of the focus was variable in a way that didn't seem like depth of field.

thanks Colorwave. I did not use the lensbaby, the blur on the kissing shot  and the vignette was done in post. lenses used Nikon 75-150mm 3.5, Sigma 50mm 1.4 and Nikon 17-35mm 2.8.

Thanks Mike, that was fun to watch. Nice treatment, the overlays, color, blur...and amazing how you're in people's faces and they like ignore you, almost like you paid models for each scene...you used a tripod?...did you have to get a permit?...oh, and Max Roach, classic,...perfect for your video...

thanks momo2. no permit. it is a public place full of tourists flashing away, they actually have organized photo tours.
