Title: Issue opening a file in CS4
Post by: DarkPenguin on June 04, 2009, 11:39:33 am
I have an image.  A single image (a 40D .cr2.) that I'm trying to open in Photoshop.  ACR in CS4 specifically.

If I try to do that from the file system (right click->open in CS4) CS4 locks up.
If I try to do that from bridge CS4 locks up.
If I just open the file in ACR in bridge it works fine.
If I try to open other files from the same series of shots it works fine.

So CS4/ACR works fine most of the time.  Just not with that one image.

I'm guessing there is a cache or other file somewhere that is hosed.  I cleared the ACR cache.  (I think that's what I cleared.)  No joy.

This is Photoshop CS4 under Vista with all the updates.

Any thots?
