This is an older photo of mine from Meteora, Greece. The trees were photographed against the black rock. I was attracted by the color contrasts and the position of the two trees "mirroring" each other.

It's beautiful. The light is soft enough to bring out the foliage in the trees and grass, but also hard enough to bring out the furrows in the rock walls. A splendid juxtaposition of elements. Love it.

I like it.  

The green leaves on the two foreground trees in the sunlight stand out nicely against the dark grey/black cliff.  I like how the green of the leaves are superimposed over the darkness of the cliff are contrasted by the dark of the tree trunks superimposed over the green of the grass.  The vertical lines of the cliff and the rocks texture/bedding planes also add interest to the upper 2/3 of the photo.  

Nicely done.

Beautiful shot. The quality of the light really makes this image for me, as the side/back-lighting sets off the two trees from the background and creates depth, while there's just enough indirect lighting on the cliff to bring out the contours. The contour lines connect the cliff and the trees to strengthen the composition. The color is understated but effective, no velvia-style saturation needed here; just foliage green in an otherwise monochromatic scene. This image is deceptively simple, but very effective. I can't think of anything to criticize. Well done!

Beautiful light and outstanding composition!  The lines draw attention right where it should be.  You've got just enough foreground to draw the eye into the image.  The trees are perfectly captured.  Nicely done!
