Title: minolta 28-70mm 2.8 G vs CZ24-70mm 2.8 for A900
Post by: kuau on April 09, 2009, 07:00:23 pm
I just got a A900 a month ago for doing landscape work so shooting at F2.8 is very rare for me. I just got the CZ 16-35mm F2.8 which I love and I got a used minolta 28-70mm F2.8G on ebay for $750.00
How does this lens compare to the $1500.00 24-70mm CZ I have all the reviews and seen images taken with it very nice but.. is it 750.00 nicer then my 28-70G lens? I have not seen any direct comparisons between the 2 lens. Are any out there?
Thanks

Hi!

A good report is here:

My own test pictures are here (these are before performing microadjustment on AF-sensor), choose original size for 24 MPixel, HQ JPEGs, ZA 24-70/2.8 only:

Some real world pictures are here (these also in 24 MPixel JPEG with high quality)

Best regards
Erik
