Title: Monitor controls needed for calibration
Post by: NigelC on April 09, 2009, 06:36:47 pm
Currently I'm profiling an Apple Cinema Display 23" with a Huey pro. Because its connected to a PC (Vista64), I don't have access to disply controls other than brightness. Nor a problem for Huey Pro, but if i used and XRite iDisplay2, I understand I would need access to the monitor driver. Is this correct?

As a matter of fact, 8 bit LCD panel doesn't actually have any real controls other than brightness, so there's no difference
