Nevada, I am going for mood here; I thought these were great rock formations.
-
This image has great lines and impressive detail, but for me I find it a LITTLE too dark - I find myself wondering what's still hidden in the shadows...

Quite nice. I like the tones, but don't know if I would have guessed it was a photo of rocks. Doesn't matter what it is, because it looks to me like alligators joined together and piled. Great texture, in the realm of abstract.

Very creepy-crawly. I like it! I suspect that more detail in the shadows would spoil the mood.

I came back to this one a few times. I think that your current presentation would look best printed big (at least 24x36"), given that there's so much detail here- I could spend 5 minutes looking at just one of the rocks! If you plan to print smaller, you might want to crop the foreground a bit. Either way, well done!

Maybe that's what I find so attractive about it. Amazing detail, Andres: what kit were you using?

Fine image, you were very successful with this one!

Great rock formation and nice, crisp detail. I personally would like to see more of the surroundings. It's very pleasing as-is though. Nice job. ZBy the way, I agree with button. This would look great as a nice big print.

Thanks, I kind of liked the mistery in the shadows, the information is there in case I wanted to open them up a bit.
Thanks again.

Thanks John, it reminded me a bit of the Alien movie in the spaceship

Yes! I wanted mood and atmosphere in this one, I am glad it worked on this one. Thanks.

John what paper would you use? Thanks.

Hi Jeremy, my gear is not very fancy..a Canon Rebel with a 15-85 IS Lens. I did use a small tripod for this one.
Thanks.

I am glad this one worked better!
Another shot from the same place in Nevada.

I like the new one, too.

I have to say, I like the new one even more than the first version. The tones, high and low, and the larger context, are just excellent.
