Title: Capture One: Raw-S Raw-L capture count
Post by: siba on March 31, 2009, 05:27:22 am
This is a relatively small annoyance, but it would be nice to get to the bottom of the problem. I'm now quite happily using CO 4.6.3 PRO

When shooting tethered with my P45 I can switch between Raw-S and Raw-L in CO, and when tethered it is no longer possible to do so in camera. When switching between the two formats the capture count in CO shows me how many captures I can take. But, the in-camera counter stays the same. In that, the in-camera counter counts down depending on what format setting I had before tethering. So, if after tethering I decide to change format then the in-camera counter doesn't represent the correct number of captures.

I am convinced that this was not the case in previous versions of CO 4x. However, because it is there now, I no longer trust my own memory, and perhaps this was always the case.

Can anyone enlighten me as to whether I'm going crazy, or that before the software counter and the camera counter were indeed synchronized.

If not, then it seems to be something that should be changed. Or, is it my P45 firmware?

Cheers for any feedback

Stefan

As I'm on the subject of CO, one more thing....

Can anyone tell me why some thumbnails remain the same after I have manipulated the file, while others show the changes.

Thanks

Stefan
