Title: Editing Red

So you shoot some 3 or 4k footage, then what. What kind of setup do you need to make editing practical. I use Aperture for it's DAM capabilities on stills, what's the software for video to catalouge your film. How much software do you need, is it camera to Final Cut or is there a bit in between. Then how do you archive I assume you keep the RAW? The more I look into Video the bigger the (solvable) problems look to be, any computer issues you can think of in stills is multiplied by a significant factor for video.
