Title: 5D MKII audio
Post by: peterpix on March 22, 2009, 03:53:19 pm
I'm a video neophyte, but interested in making documentary short videos.  Wondering  what people are using with the  5D MKIJ. Rode or Stennheiser or whatever?
Thanks,
Peter

Hissing sound on the external mike.
Has anyone found this.It hisses when the jack is in the camera.I used a brand new rode stereo mike and a senneheisser mono mike and the same problem. When I use the cameras mike its all fine and although its not a good mike at least there is no hissing. Its like a shshshshshshshsh constant even when you turn the mike off it still hisses.
