Nice to see something less formulaic in the "fence on the beach/snow" genre: I really like the way that the fence and the shadow make a single sweeping shape here.

Very nice, Blas, especially the snow fence.

OT: I was down at World's End last Friday, but didn't see you there. It was very windy.

Have you submitted anything to the South Shore Art Center's new juried show called "White, Black, and Shades af Gray?" I have one photo in the show, and I'll be at the opening this Friday (6-8 pm).

I also missed you at the Epson Print Academy Saturday. Did you do Track 1 or Track 2, or just forget about it?

I was Track 2, too. I thought it was great. I got to chat a little with Jeff and Andrew and JP, and even Eric Chan. By mid-afternoon my head was swimming from information overload. But now I have finally dusted off my old never-tried copy of Lightroom 1.0, upgraded it to 2.3, and started playing the LL video of Jeff and Michael showing how to do everything. Jeff convinced me that it was time for me to get into Lightroom. So far I'm optimistic.

Eric,

The part I enjoy the most was when jeff, cut Michael off, in the video

I don't have lightroom and I don't think the I will.  To much already with photoshop, c1, plus now phocus, and I have  aperture the is somewere in the house collecting dust.  if  I get lightroom I will sell everything else, just to learn that, so i pass.

good luck

I like both images, but the fence I like best. The shadows are softer and not the oft deep shadows one sees in fence images. The first makes me wonder where it was taken.
