Spring is starting to try to peek out of the clouds here and there and, at least here in FL, some butterfly species are starting to come out. I thought it would be fun if people posted their butterfly shots here as the year progresses ... here are 3 of mine:

Thanks for sharing these. Still snow and ice here, although the crocuses are out down along the coast...

Very nice shots, John. Have you visited the "Butterfly Rainforest" at the Florida Museum Of Natural History on the University of Florida campus?

Hey Jack;
I just wanted to thank you again for that link! Turns out, the "Butterfly Rainforest" is less than an hour from my home so I went there today and took a lot of neat photographs:
Thanks again for the tip, I sure do appreciate it.

Nice shots there, Jack! It looks like the link paid off in a successful trip.
Our photo club here in the Jackonvile beaches had a shoot at UF last month. Unfortunately I had a conflict in my schedule.

Thanks again and yes it did

What wonderful photographs. Thank you John.
Also for me very humbling to see how Nature provides so many amazingly beautiful species.
