I'm trying to softproof for Canon heavy weight Satin 300 paper but the profile doesn't show up.  Ran the already updated media configuration tool while on the phone with a Canon tech, rebooted and still no profiles in photoshop or LR.  Tech couldn't explain it either!  Yet, the profile is in the computer's HD and shows up on the actual printer's dispaly panel.

Any suggestions on what profile I could use for this paper instead?
-semigloss poster
-photo glossy
-or some kind of matte

i heard the paper is similar to epson luster......

Hi,
if you can see the profile in the HD it's probably in the wrong folder otherwise PS should see it.You need to install the profile:it means put it in the right folder where PS can see it (if working on windows right click on the profile icon and choose install).
Which operating system are you working on?
