Title: DSLR market share
Post by: Ronny Nilsen on February 08, 2009, 06:00:28 am
I just saw the numbers for sales of cameras i Norway, and the total
number of cameras sold in Norway in 2008 was 542 000, and of that
DSLR sales was over 107 000. That means that DSLR is about 20%
of the total numbers of cameras sold in Norway.

What is the percentage in other parts of the world?

IDC has a report (http://www.idc.com/getdoc.jsp?containerId=IDC_P306) on digital cameras, but it is not for free. I wasn't able to find free sources with quick googling.
