From the title I thought it was a wedding photography site.  Not sure that I would have gone any further just based on the title.  I see it's a combination of all your various photographic endeavors rolled into one.  Might be a better idea to separate those onto individual sites, ie just landscape, just portraiture, etc.

You might want to edit your post and make your site name an actual link. Like so:

www.onceinalifetimephotography.com.au (http://www.onceinalifetimephotography.com.au)

If people are like me, they highlight the unlinked version, right click, and select "search google for". I was quickly directed to photography by someone named Julie Comeaux (appears she does wedding, portraits, sports, seniors, etc. - might make for some confusing critiques).

From a quick look, the work looks very nice. Perhaps once a visitor is into an actual gallery, the big image at the top (the image that loops through the other gallery choices) could disappear, leaving only the header and navigation options.

Nice looking site overall, though.

Maybe also the main picture in the framing category could be redone. The cloning on the frame is pretty distracting. If you need a bigger image, just make a new one or use something else. If a person doesn't recognize the image as having been cloned, they might get the impression that the frames are uneven or odd in some way. It might take a bit of time to re shoot the image, but it is the collective effect of the little details that reassures a visitor to actually make a purchase over the interwebs.

Hope that helps.

It looks very polished and slick. My only point is that the main showcase images rotate rather quickly, maybe a fade transition would be less jarring...

Overall comments: Loads fairly fast. Small font size challenging to my aging eyes.

The layout may be improved if the three featured images are positioned horizontally either above or below the welcome text.

Like the gallery descriptions, but would like to know how many images are in each. The "prints and framing" and "services" links at the bottom are unnecessary and distracting. They are already at the top menu. Similar comments on other pages.

Links on this page would work better if included as text links in the above top level page. Would have saved me an extra click.

http://www.onceinalifetimephotography.com....&submenuid= (http://www.onceinalifetimephotography.com.au/details.php?p_id=150&listid=3&slistid=&seo=Babies&menuid=&submenuid=)
The large top image on this page has nothing to do with the thumnails.

Once an enlargement is displayed, it hides some thumbnails and the rest turn very dark. There is no navigation help for the next, previous or random selection. The top menu disappears. I did not feel like going any further.

You may find this old and lengthy thread helpful:

My main impression is that there is a lot of writing, even on the gallery page.
It's a photography site, images should be doing the talking, show don't tell.

Or if you use a decent browser [Opera] you selecttext/rightclick/go to web address, no need to search!
