Title: Z3100 no Papers in Color Center
Post by: Hellstan on January 29, 2009, 07:48:52 pm
Suddenly, the Papers and ICC profiles tab don't appear anymore in my Utility.
In Colour center tab, there's only :
- Calibrate
- HP Knowledge Center
Why is that ?
Should re-install the Utility ?

I just had this happen to me as well.  Kept looking and wouldn't come up for anything.
I restarted the everything - computer/printer/router - anything connected.
I unplugged the printer and let it wait for a while then restarted and the papers came back.
Don't worry, just be patient - will take some time to restart printer from an unplug - just let it do it's thing.
BTW - I'm using Mac.
Hope this helps-

Mark

OK - try uninstalling the printer in your System preferences, then shut down, reinstall.
Shut down again, shut down and restart printer again and see what happens.

Give it a shot...

Yes of course, what else?

Mark, you are George Clooney, are you ?
I just went in sys pref, the printer was not listed.
I listed it.
Papers are back.
You like Bourgogne, do you ?

Do you know of a small restaurant in Paris named LouPescadou (the Wolf and the Fisherman)
I think it's somewhere around Rue De Seine (sp), near Hotel Du Senat -
I wonder if it's still there?  I had a show in Paris in 1986 and got to know the owner -

Anyways, glad you have your papers back, so glad it worked for you.

Best-

Mark

I don't but I should.
You should try La Taverna, best traditional italian cuisine in Paris (7-th district).

Besides, I think I'm in for a call to HP support anyway : hard drive getting noisy.
