Title: High Park in springtime fog
Post by: John R on January 25, 2009, 09:26:53 pm
Taken at High Park in the spring during early morning fog and then converted to black and white. I deliberately let the foreground tree go black so I could accentuate the differences in the foliage of the rest of the scene.

Beautiful work.  I'm not crazy about the completely black trunk on the right side, but I understand your reasoning for it.

Thanks Mike. Maybe I will try masking in the area of the tree trunk, which I have never done before. But the original does not have much detail anyway as it was shot in fog.
