Title: Singh Ray Vario ND and vignetting?
Post by: smhoer on January 20, 2009, 12:58:53 pm
I have recently moved back to MF.  Recently I have stopped using my ND grads in favor of digital blending.  I do need to get an ND filter for some of my landscape work to control exposure.  Does anyone have experience with the Singh Ray Vario ND or Vario Duo DN/polarizer on Mamiya lenses in 77mm mount?  Specifically, does it cause vignetting on the 35mm AFD lens?

I have had no problems.  Won't work on the 28mm but all my other glass works fine with it. 35mm, 55-110mm, 105-210mm, 300mm.

I have a Singh Ray Vario ND  7mmm thin , it works fine  with a little vignetting on wide angles if you darken it to much
