I think it is coyote. No matter, it is a fabulous image. The motion is wonderful and conveys the naturalness of the scene and furtiveness of these animals.

Yup. That's what's known as a cross fox. It's a colour variant of the red fox - halfway between the red version and the silver version. Of course with fox farming there are all kinds of colours, but Mother Nature prefers a more limited palette. To a coyote, that fox would be lunch. Nice shot, BTW!
