I like the image, but find the subject matter too recognizable to not feel like it is oriented wrong.  Looks great when I turn my laptop on it's side . . .

Thanks for this opportunity. I quite like this abstract, but I too find the recognisable parts of the water distracting and tends to spoil it a bit for me. Do you have any other images with the beautiful textures,and tonal gradations - without the bubbles and water?

I have added a crop which isn't as interesting as the wider one of yours, but is less disorienting I think.

I really like the texture and tonality of the image, but I can't help but rotate the image in my mind. The cropped image removes that problem but is not as interesting.
