Title: APS Adapter for Nikon Coolscan V ED
Post by: WilliamSC on January 13, 2009, 04:53:44 pm
Okay, so I've enjoyed scanning my slides from years ago with terrific results
My wife came in with a shoebox of her APS film cartridges and insisted that I "assist" her new project by digitizing the APS film
Should I purchase the adapter that has recieved crummy reviews or open the cartridges and cut the film every five pictures, scan with the film adapter and store in archival sheets like I do for my 35mm film strips. Can this be done without harming the film?

Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

I was just about to ask the same question about opening those cartridges...tagging along.
