Title: Mamiya RB67 - What are the digital options?
Post by: on December 23, 2004, 01:30:32 pm
You can fit virtually every medium format digital back that's made to the RB.

There are no chips larger than 645, and unlikely to be any soon, so effectively your 6X7 camera becomes a 645 camera. That aside, you need to look at Phase One, Imacon, Leaf and Eyelike as well as what Mamiya themselves bring out in 2005.

I have been using RB67s for about twenty years.

I have tons of equipment - far too much to consider changing at this stage.

What are my options for digital backs?

I know that the new Mamiya digital back is aimed at 645. Does the consequent multiplier effect make it useless on the RB?

What else might I consider?

Thanks.
