Title: Lake of Fire

New here. I have attached an Orton image for your perusal. Always wanted to do this type of photogrphy since the slide film days but was not able to for various reasons. Now that digital is here it is much easier. But it is also easy to overdo and it become quite trite if not used judiciously.

It certainly works well on this type of landscape.  I wonder what results you would get on very different kinds of images.

It doesn't work too well with dark images or images with too much black areas. You can see many examples on my site @
http://lusalight.smugmug.com/ (http://lusalight.smugmug.com/) The bottom line is to try it, and it either works or doesn't for certain images.
