With the amount of detail here, it's hard to tell what's going on.  The water looks cloudy, as though it was swirling at at slow shutter speed.  Maybe you could explain some of the image elements.

Nice, thanks for sharing.

I am not 100% about the very bottom of the image.

Cheers,

I like it - but I think it's losing some impact, so small on the web.  I love the tones.

I like it, but I'm not happy with the framing - too many conflicting elements.  Maybe chop off some of the bottom, or some of the right side, or both... Hmmm...

Mike.

Mike and I often find ourselves independently reaching the same conclusion, but here I have to disagree: I like the shot just the way it is and I think losing any of the elements would degrade it.

I was about to agree with you, Jeremy, but then I decided to try a little cropping. I think I like this version a little better:

In any case, I always enjoy Timo's lovely landscapes.

Yes, I see what you mean. However, I've just spent a few minutes flipping back and forth between the uncropped original and your crop: I think I still prefer the original.

On that, we can definitely agree. They almost make me wish I lived somewhere with that much ice and snow, but I do like warmth!

The crop makes a bit difference, much improved.
