I have to say, I'm usually impressed with Alain's processing finesse, but this time, I like the original the best. Beautiful work, Timo. Happy holidays, everyone!

When I looked at the original I thought it was well done but that the foreground could be lightened a bit.  Then I looked at Alain's and thought - maybe a bit too much!  Oh well, everyone gets an opinion!!

This is an interesting photo - worth doing some work on.  Here's my quickie change/interpretation.  BTW I modified Alain's version.

Nice colours and you caught just the right moment!

Did you also try a lower perspective? hat way you could have gotten even more of the foreground (compressed of course) plus more of the sky.

I prefer the original, but maybe I should not judge brightness on the poor laptop screen I am using right now.
