Title: Lexar Announces New 32-40X Pro CF Cads
Post by: Marshal on February 26, 2003, 02:40:07 am
I just read the article more thoroughly and the new WA cards will supposedly work in Write Acceleration mode with many of the pro D-SLRs. The Nikon D1X and H and the D100, the Kodak 14n and 760 models, and a few others. The Canon line is not mentioned, but the cards may still work in standard mode even if not in WA. The Fuji S1 & 2 were not mentioned, but if you go to PMA or know someone who is, you could ask about that.  The Fujis might work in standard, non-WA mode.

You probably won't be able to use the new cards with your current cameras except the 1Ds(maybe, but no guarantees), but it's likely that new cameras announced at PMA or in coming months will.

It's also possible that the 1Ds could with an upgrade.
