Title: creating a tab limited file with keywords to import into lightroom
Post by: annesophieheist on December 03, 2008, 01:44:06 am
I was shown how to create a keyword list ( in word?) to save as a text file and import into lightroom. I know there these is already CVKC out which i can upload into LR but I really want to know how to do that myself.
I forgot how to. :-(

Can anyone maybe show me an example file so that I know where to tab, enter, space so that it will be correctly displayed in the keyword panel in LR.

Many, many thanks in advance

anne-sophie, who feels stupid of loosing the file i had already created.

Add some keywords in Lightroom - just a few. Include some synonyms and other options, then use Metadata > Export keywords. This creates a file which shows you the tabs etc, and which you can then edit in Notepad, and import into Lightroom.
