Title: Rendering D90
Post by: Morgan_Moore on November 09, 2008, 01:32:56 am
I just got FCP

Importing D90 clips they need rendering in the timeline - which is fairly painful

Is there a software I would render out all of the rushes from a D90 session to a readable format

(probably while having a coffee or sorting out my Kit)

Then get a nice editiing experience with my new footage ?

You can use quicktime pro and uprez  up to a full 1080 if you want to match other footage without rendering in fcp.

There is probably some batch action script out there that allows for this in multiple clips.

QTP is amazingly useful for £20

I was looking for batch action though

Maybe I answererd my own question

import all to FCP, plop on timline hit render, drink coffee, export rendered rushes

Actually I think there is a software called (or known as a) commpressor that does the batch thing..
