Title: Calibrate - Luminance
Post by: Pia on October 24, 2008, 02:29:53 am
HELP!
I just bought an iMac 24" and I have some trouble calibrating it to the right luminance!
I would like to reach a luminance around 90, but I can't get it lower than 220??
Is there some kind of software for download, that can help bring down the luminance?

I just set mine at minimum and hope that CM software adjusts CLUT (Color LookUp Table) to compensate for to high luminousity.

If you perceive your prints to dark in spite of having a color managed workflow and if "softproofs" don't match your prints visually it may mean that you have a real problem with screen luminance. There is a forum for color management on this site, it may be better to post on that forum.
