In the Print segment of the LR2.0 tutorial with Jeff, Michael printed a LR managed color image to Ilford GFP paper setting the driver output resolution to 1440 instead of 2880. I would have thought 2880 would be used for color. He didn't talk about why you would chose a lower resolution in the video. Could anyone describe the rational behind choosing an output resolution in the Epson driver. I too have an Epson 3800. Thanks in advance.

Got an email reply from Michael as follows:
There's no point in using 2880. It's no sharper and simply slows down printing. It's there for marketing brag rights.
Try two prints and see this for yourself.
