Title: Autumn in Ohio
Post by: dalethorn on October 18, 2008, 09:09:48 pm
Trees and leaves are a challenge for the tiny Pana LX3, but if you get the right lighting, it does OK The sky isn't the best, but it's pretty close to the real thing. I didn't do any post processing other than a slight correction for the wide angle (24 mm eff.) distortion. Camera settings were defaults. ISO 80, F3.2, 1/250.

Yet more autumn pics from Ohio. The distant scene is typical color for this year, somewhat muted. The other is a mixture of orange/red leaves and sunset adding even more red to the color. The distant scene is a good example of the Pana LX3's ability to capture greater detail with the 24mm (eff.) wide angle lens.
