Title: (17) Press 75 Flashbulbs for sale
Post by: daleeman on September 24, 2008, 10:08:17 am
SOLD, all 17 of them
Thanks for looking.

These are really bright hummers. I believe one of the biggest flashbulbs ever made. They are in firing order, with paper sleves. These were manufactured about 1933 to 1941.

The bulbs have a standard home style edison base. The last time I used them I was on top of a 12 story building with a 20mm lens at the WEBN fireworks in Cincinnati and took "Daylight" photos of 200,00 people below with the camera on bulb and touched off a Press 75 flash bulb inside a common clamp light reflector with a 9 volt battery. Needless to say, those going to the fireworks that evening thought UFOs were in the air.

I'd like to sell them as a lot, as-is, + shipping with a best offer close to $ 700.00
they sell on eBay for $ 50 to $ 100 each.

Great for cave photos, massive night shots, and more.

I used one in the dorm room light socket when I was in college once, my roomy came home from the bars one night and fliped the switch as entered the dormroom. He said he saw God!
