Title: z3100 faulty LC ink cartridges
Post by: bgarman on August 22, 2008, 08:03:04 pm
I just came across six faulty LC tanks, all of the same lot number and all just delivered this week.  Printer says replace, web server doesn't recognize.  LC ink floods out of the print head.  HP says it looks like a chip issue.  Just wondering if anyone else has had any faulty tanks recently of any color and if so what lot numbers they might be.

I never noticed until now that the lot numbers aren't printed on the exterior of the twin-pack box.

It's quite the job stopper when one hits a bad batch like this.

Edit:  Lot number is S1B8317
