Have a very recent Canon USA 600mm f/4L IS lens with date code UV. Still has 4 months of warranty as it was bought Dec 2007 from Adorama. It has some marks mainly close to the Canon plaque from removing black gaffer tape and the area where the hood goes. Hood itself if free of marks. Check the pictures and you will see that the marks are minor and the lens indeed is excellent. Optics are pristine with no marks or dust at all. Comes with box, copy of invoice, hood, cap, key, case, warranty card and manual. The only thing missing is the strap which I can not find. A Canon strap from one of my cameras will be provided. Selling for $5995 shipped paid with cashier check or paypal e-check. Regular paypal add $180. They are $7600 new at Adorama.
