The Spherocam is a scanning digital camera capable of making 360 degree images in 16 bit color . It can produce cylindrical panoramics using regular Nikon lenses, or full VR images using the included 16mm fisheye and spheron software. It is an incredible camera which uses a 5230 pixel linear CCD to scan the image as it revolves on its axis. It is extremely portable (the camera weighs around 3 pounds), and pretty well self contained - a great travel camera. The system includes one spherocam in excellent shape, a 5.5v battery pack good for 4-5 hours of shooting, a Nikon 16mm fisheye, tripod head for mounting the camera, software, and hard carrying case.
