Title: Building thumbnails in Adobe Bridge
Post by: markdfink on June 10, 2008, 11:58:04 am
I'm trying to figure out how I can tell Adobe Bridge to build thumbnails for an entire drive. My background has been with ThumbsPlus, which had an option for doing this. The advantage was, it could run overnight so that the next morning, as you navigate through your folders, you don't have to wait for thumbnails to be built.

Since I regularly stitch large mosaics, often 1GB or larger, it would be nice to have the thumbnails prebuilt so that I don't spend a lot of time waiting for them to be built as I land on a folder. Is there a way to tell Adobe Bridge to do this overnight?

Thanks,

Mark

In Bridge, navigate to your folder structure's root, then hit Tools > Cache > Build and Export Cache.
