Title: A thorough Epson R2880 review
Post by: Pelao on May 27, 2008, 10:36:42 am
I hope LL manages to cover this new printer. In the meantime, photo-i has a reasonably thorough review:

I think I'll go shopping soon...

The cartridges look tiny. As the tester pointed out, this might be a problem with A3 or A3+ printing.

Add smaller cartridges than the R2400 and the Dreaded Blacks Swap Curse...
The 3800 is far cheaper with the ink included, and the 4880 fast appealing (except for the DBSC)!

Yup. It's still the 38xx for me when my 2200 finally dies.

Good point about the 3800 and price once ink is factored into the equation.

Apart from that, my big issue is the cartridge swop.

Still, it's an attractive printer.
