I've been reading a lot on the Ilford Gold Fibre Silk here but I only came across one reference of a Z3100 user trying the Fine Art Pearl preset with this paper.
Has anyone settled on a best settings for this paper yet?
Thanks,
Jim

I've tried several setting and that seems to be the best media setting. I find this a nice paper on the Z for color, but I've experienced unworkable bronzing with black and white. For that I'm getting better results with the Innova Semi-Matte and the Innova Ultrasmooth Gloss.

Thanks for the feedback. Do you use the Fine Art Pearl setting with standard, more or less ink? Sorry to hear about the bronzing in B&W with this paper especially since that is exactly what I bought it for. I'll see what happens with my testing in the next couple of weeks.

I tried more ink, and less ink and more ink worked the best on my printer.
Well if you guys find a better setting that doesn't produce bronzing with black and white with the Ilford Gold please let me know, because I really like this paper and it is the only one that has a price that is affordable to me in the big rolls. All the others are twice what they are worth, and one of the reasons that companies like Innova aren't selling much of it at all.

Thanks guys,
I'll see what I come up with on the Gold Silk. It's a bit discouraging though. Might use it for color and try the Exhibition Fibre for B&W. A lot of people seem to like this paper despite the cost.

I use FAP less ink and have no bronzing - I have dozens of B&W prints sitting here - they are all fabulous!

Thanks, I'll give the less ink setting a try.
