Title: Hello everyone

Just wanted to introduce myself ... I've been reading around these forums for some time now.  I'm a complete amateur when it comes to photography but it's a new-found passion.  My "day job" is mostly computer programming related with some pro audio and video work tossed in.  I've been slowly building up my gear over the last couple of years, currently shooting with a Canon 350D and a couple of L lenses (17-40, 70-200 f/4 IS).  I don't get as much time as I would like behind the camera but am hoping to make some more time to play this year!

This forum is a great learning resource and wanted to thank everyone for the knowledge they share here.
