A little over a year ago Canon announced their 28-300 L series lens, which at the time dissapointed many because of it's cost and weight. Being a little over a year later, I wonder if there are those of you who've given in to the tempatation to purchase this lens... And who therefore might be able to provide the rest of us with some sample images??? Please show us the best performance, average performance and bad performance you have gotten from the lens if possible.
In addition, I wonder if you could comment on the conveniences/inconveniences of having an all in one lens like this?
