Timo,

nice shot! But what do you think of my suggestion (mirror)? I think that the ice is much more interesting now than with the original composition.

Regards,
Luis

I am quite astonished how an image can take on such a completely different feel just by mirroring it.

The direction of flow... the angle of the whole landscape has changed completely. I observe that compared to Luis' image, Timo's original feels somewhat 'uncomfortable' and 'off balance', and with the mirror image, it seems to bring a more harmonius balance to the landscape.

Perhaps it has something to do with the way I read from left to right. Perhaps someone from another culture whose text is not written from left to right may feel differently.

Thanks Timo,
Julie
