Looks pretty cool. If I decide to start making my own profiles I'm going to buy one.

Looks like a great buy - after recently purchasing Eye-One Photo LT then adding the RGB module, I'm trying to decide whether I should be upset or not . . .

Joh, same issue here as I received mine 1 month prior to the announcement.
I didnt spent on the RGB upgrade yet but was in my plans.
The 200$ mail-in rebate made the price quite the same as the newer unit. But will the Munki do a better job then the LT or even the LT + RBG upgrade ? In a simpler way ? Might be true for the 2nd after viewing the video review. Time will tell for the profiling side.

I just received an e-mail from X-Rite announcing the ColorMunki. This is indeed pretty cool stuff for those of us that frequently test new papers but can't justify (afford) the current crop of top level profilers. From the claims so far it appears to produce printer profiles that will rival the paper manufacturers profiles, although I suspect that folks like Andrew will still have an edge with their spectros, software and expertise. I'm very interested.....
