About 3 weeks ago I decided to see if adding a Canon 40D or Nikon D300 to carry along side the AFDII/P25 made any sense or not. I bought a Canon 40D and D300 set-up and tried out both for awhile, compared files, compared the dSLR files to the P25 files, etc., etc. While the dSLRs handled great and using them was a nice break, one thing was really obvious - the tiny sensor doesn't work for me. There's far too much DOF for how I like to shoot. The 40D is already sold and now I need to sell the D300 kit.
The Nikon D300 & 18-200 VR are in absolute new condition. I never opened the manuals or software (used C1 version 4 to process the files). I knew I would sell the camera from the start, so the upmost care was taken to ensure the next user would have a like-new camera. The D300 has 300 clicks on it. It looks like new and performs great. This is USA camera (not an import) and comes with its warranty card and a copy of the receipt.
Price is $2300 shipped and Paypal'd within the U.S. If purchased separately, then $1700 for the D300 and $625 for 18-200 VR.
