And the electronic ink is barely dry on Michael's predictions when a new engineering feat promises to turn around our thinking as well as alter our arithmetic about pixel pitch. And what was that about physical limits?

I can imagine a time when we can take a picture after the fact when the milieu surrounding an event, place, or person 'remembers' the energy state at the time of the proposed event. Analagous to homeopathy where bulk water recalls the large molecule it contained. ;-)
The cynic in me says nothing really new here move along but we'll see.
