So, I remember reading and being intrigued by Michael's article on getting his 20D converted to IR when it was published.
At the time, I thought $450 was a lot to spend to get your camera permanently modified. However, in recent weeks I've found myself very drawn to false-colour infrared, so I bought a used 30D (got it over the 20D so I could have an RGB histogram - useful when you're shooting IR) and had it modified by MaxMax (www.maxmax.com (http://www.maxmax.com)).
I have to say, I'm really enjoying it. When I get back to Ireland, I'm looking forward to exploring my usual haunts and seeing them a new way. In the meantime, here's one I'm pleased with from my noodling around MA.
