Michael,
A big thank you for making that interview available online. Oscar was a true giant of swing jazz and one of the last surviving members of that era. RIP Mr. Peterson.
For anyone wanting to get familiar with his music, the CD Night Train or Exclusively for My Friends are highly recommended.

I wonder whether someone might put some of his photographic work together into a book.
I am sure there would be sufficient commercial interest to make it viable.
Michael?

I hadn't seen that interview before - wonderful stuff and many thanks for making it available. Clear that he put as much passion into his photography as his jazz. A great interview.

Just an FYI - On my PC, quicktime 7.3.1, the audio and video are out of sync a little bit.

Hi Michael
Loved the interview with Oscar Peterson - what a warm and engaging man he was. I hope that you will be able to put a few of his pictures up on the site sometime in the future.
-
Michael,
Another thank-you for making this interview possible. Oscar was a great man in many ways and this was a very nice interview to watch and see another of his many facets.

I have been looking at this site for a fairly long time. I keep coming back because there is so much good content. I have not posted much if anything during this time but I must write now to say how much I loved the interview with Oscar Peterson. Toward the end of the interview, when Mr. Peterson starts comparing new developments in music with digital photography, I was mesmerized.
Thanks Michael for reposting this as a tribute to a great man.

Very moving and informative.
Thank you for posting that video, Michael.

Yes indeed a very nice surprise this interview.
I am left wondering about his pictures though. It is a shame I have no idea what his photography actually looks like...It would have been great if some examples of his work had been included.
-
Thank you for making this interview available. It is a moving tribute.
-
Oscar was very private about his photography and preferred not to have them included in the interview.
Thanks all for the kind words.
Michael
