Tooting my own horn here: two of my photos made the top 10 (http://gallery.harrijahkola.com/g/vipc) in their PSA categories in the 2007 Venice International Photo Contest. LL forums don't allow dynamic links to images for some reason, so all I have is that link.
Good thing I can't fit through the door with my ego at the moment, since I might end up quitting my day job

Nice going, feppe! Very imaginative shots, both of them.

Congratulations!
Mike.

Thanks! I have to admit I was quite surprised that it was the Guggenheim photo which made it. It is one of the most photographed buildings in Spain, so getting recognition for it was a welcome surprise.

Congratulations. Did you attend the reception on the 8th? If so, how was it? I had to miss it due to other commitments.

Sorry for the late reply, moved and changed jobs, was a "bit" busy.
No, didn't go to the reception. They sent me a nice certificate for an honorable mention though

Well... 2nd place didn't get much more. They sent me the certificate and a small glass medallion. But all in all, it was fun to compete.
