Ok now it's time to ask for your opinion regarding my website...
I am working on a modified version... not big change but some reorganization.
Also the publication - bio - contact will be different.
Any opinion will be appreciate

just don't fire too hard. It's november and it's the hardest month on the mood in the year cause of the weather...

I certainly enjoyed the content of your site. Your work has style which I suspect you have worked at achieving. Also the fact that there are no people depicted in mainly urban environments lends the work a sort of lonely feel, and I especially like the "low saturation" feel of much of it.
As for the site and it's workings - it works. The Simpleviewer gallery works very well - but perhaps your photos could be a little lower in resoulution - they took a while to load.
Overall, I like the low key approach, but on my 1900x1200 monitor the script at the bottom is too ..... "loose" is the only term I can think of. It has a sort of unfinished/thrown together look. Don;t be offended if you spent effort to make it look that way, just doesn't appeal to me.
All in all though, the site provides me an easy way to view your work, so I'd say well done.
(By the way, having lived in a caravan for four years while building our home I really don't understand how you could want to spend more time than necessary in one! )

a new version will be online soon with new images I already resized all of them to make them faster to load...
I fix the bottom menu color but I am not good enough to go with a better one so far... don't know how to do scroll down menu...
Please let me know if it's easy to navigate if it's boring if whatever...

I like the look of your site, you've got really good sharp detailed images with excellent colour gamut and transitions, so even though they may be a bit slow to load going for more compression could mess up your look if you don't get it exactly right. In fact download times seem OK to me anyway, but that's on 8 meg adsl.

David,
Some thoughts:- The white background seems to suit your work well, along with the gray thumbnail frames.
- The navigation instructions under each image is unnecessary, I think (99.9% of site surfers know what to do, the rest I wouldn't worry about).
- Keep everything in the same font family. The sans serif font mixed with the serif font look incongruent.
- The text does not indicate whether or not it's a link, not even when rolling over with the cursor. Perhaps this is can be changed in the .css file.
- Everything is centered except your copyright info. I'd separate it more from the body of the main text, center it, and make it an active link [a href=\"http://www.copyright.gov/circs/circ1.html]to this site[/url] which opens in a new window.
- Lose the SimpleViewer logo. Buy the pro version, which has the link removed, for $45. It also has more customizable options.
- Make the Vistek link open to a new window. Don't lose your visitor when the link opens in the existing widow.

"coton" is a typo...
about the police it's because it's a text and not images so I know it creates problem. Will be fixed on the next version as the copyright position.
about the link I will change that.
And I didn't know the pro version of simpleviewer will get me rid of the logo.

One way to learn about web gallery designs is to view similar sites and what others have to say about them. Here's what I wrote in another thread:
Many of us here like the following site a lot. Simple, focused, good contents, consistent styles, and easy to navigate. No self proclaimed and dreaded "fine art". The fact that the site was hand coded probably eliminated lots of bells and whistles. A visitor, either a fellow photog or a customer, will come away with an impression that this photog is a humble and straight shooter (pun unintended).

For some reason your links aren't working this time, at least for me. But I found the threads you are speaking of. The first is [a href=\"http://luminous-landscape.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=19369]Topic 19369[/url] (about Andy Stannard's website) and the second is Topic 13890 (http://luminous-landscape.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=13890)
They are both must-reading for anybody trying to design a good photo website (and yes, I expect to redo my own Real Soon Now ).

my main concern is who are you ?
Artist or commercial architectural/still life photographer.
Because the interiors/stills is not art and the motels etc and thier irony could put off a client trying to use you to show off thier real estate or products
IMO you need to clear that issue up somehow (maybe even two sites)
I dont think airstream is a 'body of work' put it in your personal
Technical points
Your header/logo should link 'home'
personal has one n

But the images are great
in the still folio it says 'aristream over the top' in the airstream it says personal etc I can see this is the title of where you are linking to but it is not clear or consistent

Motels are now in personal work. Airstream also. I was working on that the last few days. I had the perception that the previous display could be confusing.
I did reorganize the site to narrow down the gallery.
Now it's only interiors, archi, personal.
It's online now... I mean just before I saw your post...
So most of the issues are fixed... I hope.
Still to go with the logo.

I noticed the typo for personal this morning just before I to put the site online... and it's been a while that the former one exist and it's been a week that I am working on the modified version.

Thanks for the corrections. I copied and pasted those links like I did in the past, but did not check them after posting. Why they didn't work this time is beyond me. Did the "..." in the links have something to do with it?
It would be nice if Michael can create an area for the "useful" threads (voted by the viewers?) organized by topics. That will save me (and many others) from referring to them repeatedly, and will also allow those looking for answers to have some starting points. Lacking that, searching the forum is the alternative. But screening the results for the answers can be daunting.

Yes, I think the "..." did them in. I like your idea about a list of (and links to) the most useful threads. I actually spent about an hour searching for the posts you tried to link because I remembered that they contained a wealth of valuable information. And now I have bookmarked them both for future reference.
For my own site, I'm now reading up on such topics as CSS and Javascript so I can reasonably expect to modify some templates that almost do what I want.
How's your own web design coming? Any progress, or are you too busy out photographing festivals?

A further thought on organisation.
Some of your images of the exteriors of buildings are 'personal' not 'architecture'
If you consider 'architecture' as work aimed at or commissioned by real estate type clients
And personal to be images that you enjoy shooting, looking at, displaying your view of the world, or whatever personal means

I like the site, it's streamlined, and slick, but not overly bold.
The only thing I'd suggest changing is the three images on the front page. They load fantastic in Safari, but Explorer interpolates when reducing the image sizes in imbeded pictures, rather then sampling, which gives it an aliased look.
