Hi Folks:
Death Valley is one place that a lot of people here have talked about. NGM has an online story about it here:
http://magma.nationalgeographic.com/ngm/20...ahill-text.html (http://magma.nationalgeographic.com/ngm/2007-11/death-valley/cahill-text.html)
If that's not enough, you can also scope out some images from the Hubble telescope (including a 48 image panorama covering 50 light years - how's that for 'wide angle'?) here: http://magma.nationalgeographic.com/ngm/20...erris-text.html (http://magma.nationalgeographic.com/ngm/2007-11/hubble/ferris-text.html)
Information on editor's picks here:
http://ngm.typepad.com/editors_pick/ (http://ngm.typepad.com/editors_pick/)
and a collection of NGM photo books here:
http://magma.nationalgeographic.com/ngm/best/ (http://magma.nationalgeographic.com/ngm/best/)
Enjoy!
Mike.
