Well, I have no idea where or what the place really is, but it seems to suggest a great spot for exploration.

I can imagine Peter Lindbergh wanting to photograph one or two of his wilder women into such a location; I´d just welcome the chance of - oh, never mind...

The antenna is cut off at the top. The scenery to the left is cut off. (One imagines a point of some sort.) The foreground is confusing. All of these make this a really poor postcard photo.

But at the same time, these features work to pull one into the photograph almost with the force of gravity. It's a brilliant photograph that leaves the mind desperately grasping for more in a haunting environment.

ha! thanks.  i was thinking of cloning out the left antenna.  there is more land further left and another building, then a point after that.  i hadn't considered the foreground, because to me it's obviously water. but yeah, it doesn't look like that.  i have a few more wider shots that include the point, i'll play with that and post later today.

the hard part about this was, it's really neat but there was thick fog and therefore just about EVERYTHING was the same tone. it was all i could do to pull this much out of it.

I like the low-ish contrast feel of it. I think you could even back off and let the fog become apparent. It might also help with the water in the forefront (although I like a little confusion in images).
