Title: Hasselblad, Horesman, Nikon for sale
Post by: Dan Wells on September 28, 2007, 05:52:08 pm
I have a mixture of medium format stuff (and a little bit of Nikon) for sale. I'll list the Nikon items first, because there are only 2.

Nikkor 105 mm AF-S Micro VR ED. Excellent+ condition. I paid $850 last year, B+H wants $760. I'd like to get about $600

Nikkor 70-300 ED (the less expensive one). I paid about $329 several years ago. Good to excellent condition, apart from a small chip in the front element which does not seem to affect image quality. Due to the chip, this is clearly not worth what it might be. Make offer.

Now for the list of medium-format stuff.

Hasselblad:

501CM body, waistlevel, A12 back - 1997 vintage, excellent condition.

500CM body, 12 (not A12), Hasselblad prism finder - 1979 vintage apart from older back - all functional, cosmetically varied (prism is by far the worst - pretty dinged up - rest is not bad, especially for 30 years old)

50, 80, 150 C T* lenses, all in good shape, glass nice, cosmetically very nice for 30 year old lenses that have not sat on a shelf. These are all late 70's/early 80's pre CF, but fully multicoated lenses.

This can optionally come in a big Tokina backpack that fits everything with room to spare.

I'd like to get about $2000 for everything on the Hasselblad list as an outfit, which is well below KEH pricing, given the grades (which range from BGN to Ex, with the newer body, back and waistlevel perhaps Ex to Ex+)...

Horseman:

VH metal 6x9 field camera (Ex+)

Horseman 90 mm lens (older)

Fujinon - W 180 mm lens (Ex+ - easily covers 4x5)

Horseman 6x9 back

Focusing cloth, cable release, etc...

In nice shoulder bag

Would like to get about $1200 for everything in this group.

I also have a digital spotmeter (Sekonic dual-spot) that I will let go very cheaply with either the Hasselblad or Horseman stuff. The viewfinder display is nonfunctional, but the meter works and is accurate (main display on side of meter works fine)

I'll certainly negotiate on multiple items, and I'll break up the systems if I don't get offers on them intact.

If you do break the hassy stuff i'de be interested in the 50, 80 and possibly the prism finder.

If I had the cash i'b buy the whole setup but alas I bought a 500cm the other day with a whole box of stuff.

I'm going to wait a bit to see if I get offers on more of it before deciding whether or not to sell the 50 and 80 separately. I'm quite likely to be willing to sell the 50, because it's not something you expect to find with a body. The 80 is a bit more difficult, especially as I have two bodies to sell and only one 80.
